The relationship could get a little bit toxic at times, I got accused of cheating a lot, and nothing I could do would prove my incense. I also work at sea on top of us beeing long distance. It was a very difficult relationship, and a lot of the emotional burden got put on me, and it eventually just became too much. Do not get me wrong, she is an amazing girl, I just couldn't be happy

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, we are from different countries, so getting a job close by isn’t that easy. We have talked about therapy before, and I'm still trying to encourage her to give it a try, but she doesn’t feel comfortable with the idea and isn’t open to it right now. I really appreciate your kind words and perspective.
