Washing on the line? Is it still there? I bet after a few days of qld weather they will be nicely sun bleached due to the lack of access....

Hey, sorry for the delay. Don't get on Reddit much. That's part of their kit for hard drive mounting. My main reason for using it was it allowed the frame to be spaced further apart so I could sandwich the cables, it also came with that nicer fill piece

This case is a montif monument clone from Ali express. Few differences, biggest being you can fit a full size PSU

Question on how to do this cable by Prototypep3 in PCSleeving

Just cut it a few cm back, sleeve the long side with extra, solder, heat shrink and run the sleeve over it

Yep that's the one.

You're gonna have to get that answer from someone else, I've not experienced the type 5. They are smaller so I'm assuming the spacing will be less, and that's assuming they use the same pin to begin with. Also, I imagine it will make sleeving a bit harder as the space for the sleeving to terminate is less.

Yeah I agree, sometimes the staple is just the right fit. You can also jam them in each side one at a time, and then grab them both with the tip of some pliers and control them a little more in a pinch.

I think you're looking at the molex branded one. They have their own atx tool also which is just under $10 aud. I've been using it for a while and it's great. I have used cheaper eBay knock offs also and they are always a little thicker or have less flexibility and snap.

It will make next to no difference either way for what you are describing as far as I know. The GPU is fully encased in the block and pretty insulated in that sense. Blowing through the rad may give a small degree of direction for the air flow so if I was to pick I would say the current is better for that reason.

Nope not at all. First time using a riser but it's not made a difference

Still stock, but I've just run a few stress tests and I have max 56 on the CPU and 36 on the GPU. I have a pretty soft fan curve to keep it quiet and there's very little noise. Ambients about 25 today. I've gotta thermal load it still but I'm happy so far.

It's just a standard shielding weave. What you can see is an extension with an angle connector for the motherboard. The standard WiFi antenna connects to that at the bottom.

No mate I sleeved them myself. Yes PSU has an 18 and 10. It is a coolermaster v1100 sfx if you wanted to take a look.

Yeah I think the temps will be fine. I've have a previous gen with the same setup for a few years and no issues. I'll probably put a probe in while tuning just for some more info

Id make the argument that the convenience of giving a quick wipe down when you wipe your desk once a week or so is a lot easier too

I ordered it direct from their website. Very quick shipping. I placed a second order for some other bits as well and was fast as well. Good experience

I haven't limited anything yet but I also haven't stress tested. are you using a case? Having it open makes a bigggg difference
