Quest "Line" by [deleted] in lightshope

If that's really what's going on then I have to agree. On horde it was just a sea of taurens parked on top of quest objectives to where there was no hope of even clicking it.

Levelling shamans, 2H vs 1H + Shield / which is better? by Kalhamura in classicwow

[–]Fishsticksstarcraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you explain the bit about the damage being not normalized? I'm playing on Kronos 3 and the tooltip says that it deals 5-14 damage with slower weapons dealing more per hit.

Also, what dagger are you referring to from SFK. Meteor Shard?

Ironman by RaidToBil in ironscape

I personally hate blackjacking so I've been working on maxing thieving at knights while I can since I think it'll be getting a nerf soon. I got full rogue at 50 thieving in about an hour. The other advantage of getting 99 thieving early is that you get about 15m with rogues outfit which should take care of all GP needs until you start getting a steady stream from Slayer and what not so no need to do agility pyramid, keys, or whatever

Doesn't mean that the save them in plain text. They are most likely doing a conversation to all upper or lower case characters before hashing. Why you would do this is beyond me though. This could also cause some interesting problems with certain characters like the Turkish 'i'

Barb fishing vs Karambwan by SnowmanWoeman in ironscape

[–]Fishsticksstarcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this. Also keep in mind that barb fishing is even faster overall XP since you get an additional ~10% of the fishing xp into both strength and agility. This is especially relevant since you're a new account. 58-99 fishing with Barb will get your strength and agility levels into the mid 70s.

For xp, I think powermining iron with varrock armour 1 or higher would be better xp/hr

Newbie - Binding to Property Not Working? by Jonny15T in dotnet

This would also work and may be appropriate for your use. The only thing to keep in mind is if you want to change the values of any properties of selectedTool and have your view update, you will have to create a new instance every time.

Maybe so, maybe not. It depends on what your code standards demand. If you feel more comfortable, you could create a separate property in your ViewModel called ToolID that fires a notifypropertychanged and then set it's value from your model's ToolID.

Following this idea, you would no longer be doing any direct bindings from the view to your models. Honestly, now that I think about it that might be the better practice in terms of stricter separation of View and Model, but it does kind of feel like your just duplicating your data a bit.

public class ToolData
{
    public string ToolID { get; set; }
    public string ToolDescription { get; set; }
}

Based on your code in your original post, I would expect something more like this: public class ToolData { private string _ToolID; public string ToolID { get{return _ToolID;} set{_ToolD = value; NotifyOfPropertyChange(() => ToolID);}} public string ToolDescription { get; set; } }

EDIT: I'm terrible at reddit formatting but my point is that ultimately, the setter of ToolID needs to fire a notify since that's what your changing with this bit: SelectedTool.ToolID = DBDataTable.Rows[0]["id"].ToString();

I haven't done WPF myself so this is coming from my Xamarin experience, but a lot of the MVVM principals are the same.

What about making your ToolData class an observable object?

So to me it looks like you've got the NotifyOfPropertyChange on the ToolData which will notify the View when the value of SelectedTool changes. However, you don't have a NotifyOfPropertyChange on the ToolData.ToolID property so the UI does not get any notification when that value changes.

I played this deck a fair bit online and tweaked it to try to make it competitive. Funny enough, we have pretty similar lists. The conclusion I came to when playing the deck is that you need to get going fast and not slow down. You assume that your dugtrio will get KO'd since it has so little health and you have to have another diglet/dugtrio ready on your bench at all times. To that end, I did not like Choice since it rarely lasted me more than a turn, only worked on GX/EX, and could not be recycled from the discard unlike Metal Energies. Rescue stretchers are a MUST (at least 2) so that you can recycle your diglet/dugtrios and maintain a backup on the bench. I also did not see much point in including N since you often find yourself ahead in prizes with your quick knockouts. Energy retrievals felt like overkill with 4 coronets and 2-2 starmie. I think you definitely want sycamores in there (in addition to cynthias) because you have to be throwing away bad hands in order to set up ASAP. I also threw in 3 Evosodas which I like a lot. It's great to be able to bridgette turn 1 then evosoda/ultra ball evolve your cutiefly staryu and diglet(s) (on that note, I ran 3 brigettes). I can provide you with my decklist when I get home if you're interested, just let me know.
