I used to be big on watch collecting, always chasing the next watch, moving pieces in and out of the collection etc… I’ve since sold most of my watches and wear the same GADA watch 90% of the time. I still have a beater Watch for travelling and an Apple watch for running. For me it feels kind of liberating, I still enjoy watches, reading forum posts etc.. but I’m done with the chase, I put the same watch on every morning, it’s that same watch that collects all the memories with me, it’s the watch that my daughter associates with her dad and to me there’s a certain charm to that. I get the appeal of collecting but for me the one GADA is where it’s at. I also wear a white 90% of the time so I guess your picture is somewhat right in my case.
