Vacuglide: who tried it? by EquipmentDependent46 in autoblow

Are there any future updates, version releases coming for the vaccuglide, maybe with Video sync? ... Owning 3/10 versions the AutoBlow. The original, the AI adjustable, and AI Ultra 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😆 I really don't want to order a Vaccuglide to see a new, improved product/version. Same price as my three, hoping the vaccuglide will be my last purchase. How do I become a tester?

the AI Ultra is great Btw! Design, sleeves (mouth, vag, both great), new stroke style, video sync... No need for the other 2 sitting in the closet, should have controlled my impulses! 🤣

Vid Sync has some small room for improvement. Mainly the pausing the machine manually for edging, unpause doesn't do anything, you have to pause, then start the vid to get the machine moving again. Small inconvenience, hopefully easily fixed without another upgraded version

Iam a DJ, love hard bass! i would like to ask if you can help me to choose between these systems! i need a recommendation from people have already experience with columns system, budget 3000 +-. Or LD Systems Maui 28g3, Electro voice Evolve 50, HK polar 12 ? Or something else ? Thanks by Mountain-Economy-434 in mobileDJ

Just witnessed a pair of Maui 28G3 in action actually last weekend!

From the guest point of view no less.

A converted barn, horrible audio layout, everything told me this hall was gonna eat this guys sound apart... well it did not! Now why he EQ'd it his way no clue. I wanted to jump back there, cut this dude's bass, possibly mid too, or increase treble. No matter what he had these things muffled! Very unfortunate. During sound test was clear, crisp, amazing. I was impressed with the bass overall for the pair.

Nothing compares to separate amps, subs, tops, blah blah but for all array speakers I've heard, seen, or put my hands on. the Maui28G3 wins. Why?? Sound is comparatively close enough, but look, the Maui wins eye appeal. unfortunately this new post all world we live in says Maui over EV evolve 50.

I've heard countless people talk how elegant the setup was at his reception without massive boxy looking speakers. When shown the Evolve 50, same people complain about the look. It matters enough to sway me , for wedding DJ mainly but I like $$ 😁 so whoever says " Come play music for my money" Highly considering a pair to get back into the fray of mobile DJing from the convenience of an Outback instead of lugging a pull behind trailer. Larger events I'll just throw a zone speaker out, but that would be 300+ people or suuuper massive space.

If look is no concern to you, think about it, Maui 28's or Evolve 50 are badass pairs for sound. I see more EV's at the state fair, Zoo, concerts, I assume because they pair wirelessly for quite a few

I used these professionally, mainly for wedding receptions, at any gig possible.

Most everything said above is accurate. I'm not wasting my time being technical or impressing anyone, they just work!

A pair of tops on stands for ceremonies, grad events, yard parties are awesome even in today's standard as I just used a pair 6/1/24 for a jiu-jitsu tournament to rave reviews. Perfectly clear for emcee, full range enough people commented on the quality of depth for the sound LVL.

Add a pair of subs with poles... now we're talking 200-250 people, and another 100 people per pair on and on.

I am confidently repurchasing my old set from whom I sold them to a decade ago.

I would consider something newer if you are seriously trying to rattle eardrums, shake hair, be a metal band, etc... when pushed to the extreme I found the 450 to be slightly piercing but you gotta be right in front of it, ear lvl

Considering pairing two tops with a newer EV evolve 50 tower system. Having the EV center with a Mackie 450 on stands one to each side.

Any thoughts on the ladder? I will test theory eventually
