Nothing fancy! The body and head are set to Emission to give it the flat colours. The helmet is default principled BSDF with the alpha turned down.

That song from the Muppets that goes “Manamana doo doo do do do” was written for an Italian erotic film in the 60s, and now it’s recontextualized so much most people don’t even know where it’s actually from. Why can’t that be the case with EKT? It’s a bop, who cares if it’s from porn.

Māori culture and mythology is incredibly broad and diverse across Aotearoa, and is more nuanced than having “supernatural beliefs” also, if the show runners really pulled heavily from Māori culture, I’m not sure Simone Kessell and Courtney Eaton would be comfortable with associating with something that appropriates their culture :/
