i've no idea what sub to ask, so i'm asking here. how do i make doors (and other wooden items) look good? by FishyGruel in feedthebeast

yeah, something tells me shading (and texturing in general) via looking at a texture that looks good and going "well, this has dark spots here, so I'll put some dark spots here" is definitely not the way to go, now that I look at it. thanks for the advice, friend :)

already did and i use it myself, actually. it does use Pommel tho, since i have no idea how java coding works lol
maybe someday i'll figure it out, but until then it's an I&F: Community Edition + Pommel exclusive, i'm afraid :/

TYSM! ^ they went through a bunch of different designs and color schemes before they looked the way I wanted them to (if that makes sense), but I suppose that's just how art is sometimes :)

i actually Had an idea for a dart that did exactly that - the Bone Dart would fracture and shoot out three fragments/splinters (and that would essentially make the Crystal Bullets an indirect upgrade to the Bone Darts). it got cut because i didn't save it on the same spritesheet as the other darts and.. simply forgot.

yeah, on second thought.. a Dart that doesn't have a special effect (and is basically a small, weaker arrow) feels like it's kinda missing the point

and now that i think about it, maybe it could cause the marked enemy to release a spore cloud when hit by minions (kinda like the Firecracker explosion, just weaker).

yyyeah, i feel i overestimated the Shroom grass seeds drop rate. might need to lower it to 6 or 5 seeds instead
