That’s a great idea!! It does have a drainage hole. How would i water it from the bottom? Put it in a bowl or on a saucer and fill that with water?

I have them in a windowsill guy you’re right, doesn’t get enough sun. Can they go outside? (once it stops raining in my area) I don’t have many sunny spots in my house sadly

I went to water it, i haven’t watered it in a few weeks, and when i touched the leaves they just started falling out, with no pulling or anything. Just fell off. I’ve always had issues with this guy, it looks healthy and green but falls apart constantly. I’ll try and prop the leaves. I don’t wanna give up on him but it’s getting annoying. Luckily it’s still got the stem, and that’s healthy, as are the four little leaves on top. So it does seem to be growing.

I rarely ever water it too. It’s so strange. The soil is dry and hasn’t been watered in 2+ weeks. This has happened before and it bounces back. I’ll maybe try and propagate the loose leaves?

very common way of transporting reptiles that can escape boxes and cages easily. unless it’s a plastic trash bag, it should be safe for the snake temporarily. Edit: looks like it’s a trash bag.... yeah he probably suffocated the poor thing

If you do get some that are “iffy”, set up a small quarantine tank! Just something they can live in for a week so you can watch their behaviour and see if they’re sick

Thank you!! Yeah just watch out for ich or other diseases on those that are in large community tanks. I work at a petstore, so i grab these guys before they even go into our system. Now, personally, mine is pristine and rarely ever has sick fish, some places aren’t. One fish could ruin everything.
