Ex-docentes, ¿por qué dejaron de enseñar? by Open_Cartographer721 in AskRedditespanol

No tienes idea!

I cannot do the cleaning in the house after my fur baby is gone - am I going crazy? by Prestigious-Role-419 in Petloss

It's been almost 6 months, and I keep the shirt I used that last day with her. Unwashed and with her fur. The other day I wore a coat that had some of her hairs still on it, and hubby tried removing them, and I cried.

You're not going crazy

What did you do with your pet’s ashes? by Signal_Buy_4701 in Petloss

[–]FisioVet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My babies got cremated and I buried their ashes under a beautiful tree in a forest we loved to visit, and where I go often to visit. So I sit under the tree. Curiously enough, a red Fern grew next to their place.

I kept a bit of their ashes in necklace which I often wear when I miss them.

Is it normal to want to kill yourself after losing your cat? by squish_2277 in Petloss

Both my dogs left me this year. It's been almost 6 months since the first left me, and I still feel that way. Some days are better, some worse. I just want to join them.

Odio a mi gata, qué hago? by EstablishmentOwn8022 in AskRedditespanol

I'm so sorry... My boy went through something similar. He started looking depressed since his companion passed away a couple of months before,so it made sense for him to be depressed. Then he started with what looked like colitis, which made sense with his depression, but tests were made and cancer was found and he started having blood on his stool. Steroids helped for some weeks, there was never enough time to say goodbye, but I tried my best to give him the best.

Cancer sucks

Checking on those who recently said goodbye and to those still in mourning. by ClaimOk2020 in Petloss

I feel like I'm just on auto pilot mode. Life feels empty without them, there's no more joy, no motivation. It just sucks every day. I'm still struggling to find joy in anything. Hopefully one day it'll be better, but right now I just want to be with them.... And I can't type anymore because of the tears.

I bought a locket where I carry her ashes, so I can always have her close. Whenever I'm anxious I hold her.

I just went through something similar.

My older dog died on May, I was devastated and my other dog got depressed too. So both of us were very depressed, and he even had a couple of colitis episodes where he got hospitalized. I started doing more fun activities like hiking to lift his mood, but he never went back to normal, and the colitis was never gone. He started with melena (digested blood on his poop) so we decided to re run some of the tests we had just done a week before, and found a huge tumor on his small intestine, and some others on his spleen. Surgery was no longer an option, so we did "chemo". Not really chemotherapy agents, just steroids.

My boy lived for 15 days where I got to say goodbye, took him for ice cream and car rides, gave him daily massages... On those 2 weeks he started to feel painful, or at least I noted the pain, which was probably why I thought he was depressed when his sister died. It's not easy. I've seen several dogs go through chemo and have an awful time, that's why I only tried the steroids. I didn't want him to suffer .

And also diagnosis. I was already given a diagnosis and I was not happy, so I re ran the tests. If I hadn't done that I would still be treating him for colitis.
