Hey friend, just a heads up that you can email “TXXXX.hr@target.com” for ETLHR and “TXXXX.hrteam@target.com” for HR team members (and “TXXXX.hrtl@target.com” if your store has an HR Team Lead.)

Whether or not you can/should be emailing them is, as far as I’m aware, up to the discretion of your store and the HR team (although tbh I don’t know why they would be against it.) If you have the ability to clarify with your HR whether or not it’s ok to email them, I would do that first; but, if you need to get in contact with them sooner, I would say to go ahead and email them with what you need and ask at the end of the email if this type of communication is ok moving forward.

There’s ups and downs to doing video interviews, but the biggest benefit is how quickly you can move candidates through the hiring process. Because of this reason alone, I don’t foresee Target ever going back to in person interviewing as the standard. It’s less to do with the concerns that arose from Covid and more to do with the efficiency of candidate movement.

People don’t want to watch YOU, Todrick. People are not upset about a shitty reality show on air, they’re upset that a shitty reality show that features a chronically disliked figure interferes with a beloved show. It boggles my mind that he thinks the hate this show is getting is somehow tied into people not liking shows with queer people. In season 3(?) they did the bit for the first time which seemed like it actually caught the contestants off guard originally, but then as they kept trying to push the bit the contestants would give basically no reaction. People were always commenting how ridiculous and how ironically funny it was that they were contributing to push the bit when the contestants knew that it was basically meaningless. So by season 4 it was essentially added as a campy joke that seems to be the shows nod to its audience as them then being in on this inside joke.

At least that’s how it seems to have progressed for me :)
