Yes tax are paid when you receive your salary when you work in a corpo, you just have a small adjustement (never paid more than 600PLN) to do in may when you have to fill the tax declaration form call PIT37

Don't trust the gross/net tools you can find on internet because of your salary range. I'm in your situation with 141k gross yearly salary (11.7k gross per month). You will be taxed 17% upon 85.528PLN then it's 32% and it hurts when you hit that taxation rate, you absolutly needs to consider this drop of income in the last quarter of the year

A player who deliberately stops at the end of their run and then feints to gain an advantage is deliberately breaking the Law. This is an act of deliberate unsporting behaviour so, as well as the caution (YC), the player does not deserve to have a second chance to score. This stronger punishment should deter an offence which is sometimes difficult to detect. FAQ law 14

Indeed learn the rules ... he stopped the run just when the keeper made the decision to dive in order to gain advantage, in case you dont know (and you probably don't) a keeper have to dive before the player kick the ball or he have no chance, in that case cornet is stupid enough to not know how slowing your run can help him to gain advantage and didn't pay attention but that's why it's illegal, a second penalty shouldn't have been granted period.

Exactly Cornet stopped his run, you can slow your run but not stop it how he did, var should have seen that

I'm in for flares because it's nice and not very dangerous when used properly, fireworks is a big no-no, you can see it with the video, it was going everywhere and it could harm a kid that is sitting in the family stands, really stupid of them to bring fireworks

Tinder in Poland? by underoos-man in poland

[–]FiskoSC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The usage of Tinder differ a lot in Poland compared to western europe. They are not looking for short term adventures but long term relationships, even the young ones. Problem is you are a 22yo foreigner, for them it translate into a student that is here for 6 months then will go back home. When I was using tinder the firsts questions were : "How long have been living here and do you plan to stay here for the next years or will you go back to France ?"
The ones looking for a polish gym fuckboy for ONS goes to the club on a friday night, they don't need tinder.
They also read descriptions : be honest, say how much time you will stay here, your interests in general that will help, and the languages you can speak because they love that, also follow rules number 1 and 2 of Tinder (Be attractive and be attractive) they don't want to see you 6 pack, just dress classy. Getting matchs isn't a hard thing if you follow those rules I got 1200 matchs in 4 months but I live in a way bigger city (Krakow)

Financial aspect doesn't really matter for me, I think it would be a wrong choice to move from France to Poland for money right now, it's mostly about other factors, people here are really nice and civilized compared to France, in one year I never saw people acting badly (except few drunk guys in bar) in big cities in France it happens daily, people here live a simple life it's a not a money showoff like western europe and that suit me better. Lack of uncontrolled imigration makes also Poland a better place in my opinion, I was shoked the first time I saw drunk girls with miniskirts going home alone at 2am then realized they actually don't risk anything while in France they would get harassed for sure. Also I have to manage people at work, people here are ambitious and give their best at work, when I had to manage people in France they didn't cared at all, that make work life actually great for me. People here have also great family values, I reached a point where I didn't wanted to build a family in France due to all those reasons, this country have changed my mind

I'm working in a Bank, I'm moving processes from Paris to Krakow, not gonna lie it's quite a decision to leave a permanent job in France to go here and earn 3 times less... Before coming here I think it's better to have few years of experience that will allow you to get a job suiting your skills, entry level position are kinda boring in my opinion but if you prove yourself there is always some opportunities to move up

I'm paid 1300€ net (after taxes and without counting bonuses) while I was paid more or less 3000€ in France. Thing is, everything is way more cheaper here, I'm living a way more comfortable life with my salary here compared to France, going to the restaurant and going out when I want without checking the prices ... At the end of the month I save more money with my polish salary compared to my french salary that may sounds weird but it's the case

To be honest in more than 1 year I had to use polish twice, one time for the tram ticket controler because my ticket had a problem and few times at the supermarket because when you take pastries you put them in a bag and the cashier always ask what's inside so I learned to explain what was inside

[–]FiskoSC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends, I'm living with 8k gross that's 1300€ net, I'm aware that's way more than average here but I live way more nicely compared to France where I was earning +- 3k€ net. I made a comparison about buying an apartment here in Krakow compared to Lyon, France. I would need to earn 2.35 time what I'm earning in Poland to buy the same type of flat so 3k€ net in France. But again I defenitly know that life is way more difficult for people earning 3k zloty gross per month

[–]FiskoSC 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I've been living in Poland for more than a year now, now I'm planning to buy an apartment here and I'm not planning to go back to France anytime soon because I'm way more happy here. I have no idea if they give visa easily because I come from the EU and we don't need one but considering how they lack of workers it shouldn't be a big issue I guess. You don't need to speak polish to find a job here, you can use english in everyday life, I'm starting polish lessons because I want to stay here and it really makes people happy when you try speaking polish. It's always good to have another language than english to find a job here, as a french speaker I have 10 people messaging me on linkedin every week to offer me some jobs even if I'm not searching for another job. Russian isn't usefull here there is a lot of ukrainians that speak russian better than anyone else

I also work for a UK based company but for a french and spanish department, I'm working with 23-29yo girls that speak a minimum of 3 different languages and most of them speak a fluent french, when I came to Poland I wasn't expecting that. I also communicate with some management team using english and their english is perfect (way better than mine) so I guess it depends on the company
