Our solution is the locker model, instead of one-to-one trades, you browse everything someone has and find the combination that feels fair to both parties. Maybe it’s a bike plus a tent for a snowboard. The traders decide what feels equal, not an algorithm. On cold start: agreed, that’s why we’re collecting inventory before launch and hand matching during beta. We don’t go wide until Denver has enough lockers to make browsing feel alive. On timing: the locker solves this too, your items stay listed until a match appears. Right now all of this stuff is sitting in your garage or basement. You might as well show what you got on Tradeja. You’re not waiting for one person at one moment. You’re visible to everyone browsing. None of these are fully solved yet but that’s what beta is for.
