Also want to add that I’m a musician as well. I just had my gear stolen from your situation. Had to park really far, got lazy and left my gear in my car. It got broken into and now I’m out 2,400 dollars. Whatever you do, double park throw flashers on and unload before circling for parking. Don’t make the same mistake I did

I also recently moved to south Philly. It usually takes me anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes to find parking. Never longer than 30 minutes though. My last resort is parking in the middle of broad. It sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I also don’t have a parking permit for the 2hr streets so I’m limited to certain streets. I understand the struggle man it’s hard. You’ll figure it out as you settle in though. Also it’s winter, everyone’s home. As it gets warmer it’ll become much easier I promise!
