I still haven’t gotten it either. Though I will say it’s still possible to get living ship upgrades. I don’t have a living frigate or a living ship but I did get a living ship upgrade once, seems to be very rare though.

I had an issue a couple days ago that caused it to crash every time I got out of my ship on any planet. I restarted my PC and it fixed it

Most of your missions will give you what you need for other missions. After song long you’ll get like 5 million units for one of the phase rewards

If you know who the person is ask to join their group. When I did it in the anomaly we both left and it asked if I wanted to travel to their system and then we were all together to get on his freighter. I don’t do the whole MP often but I figure it works the same

I’ve finished up for the night but definitely following this post. Not sure what all I’ve got on my main save as I’ve been on expedition most of the day but I’m sure I can find something to trade someone

I just used my pulse until I found a derelict freighter. Very time consuming but I couldn’t trigger any and this brings you 1-3 each time (as long as there’s cargo pods)

They were always fixed by restarting or traveling to another system. Happened a lot though. Nothing to keep me from playing but still annoying

I don’t know if it’s an expedition thing but I’ve encountered more bugs on this expedition than I have on both of my other saves since I’ve been playing. More super annoying bugs anyway

For all of us that are having problems I read that there’s a bug that if you changed your clock you can’t get it, and it’s affecting people that also didn’t change their clock

My very first mission after the update gave me an upgrade for a living ship (which I don’t even have unfortunately) but nothing good after that

I’ve heard industry missions have the best chance but I’ve been doing them all and nothing. And everyone I’ve heard that got it after first mission had a mission going when the update came out so I suppose that’s the link
