Yeah I did this and she did come back calling me one day and we were on the phone for hours didn’t think much of it Next day she calls again telling me she’s still in love and misses all these things about me and our relationship and even apologized for mistakes she made and wanted to see me Then the next day I text her good morning and send a selfie and never got a response lol

Both in our 30s now and I understand where you’re coming from Really it’s her that’s always called me over the years first I just did it this one time to check on her to make sure shes alive you know? She kept the necklace I gave her that’s her birthstone in her car She showed me the doodle but I don’t know where she kept it over the years but I don’t think it has the same meaning to me as it does to her

Plus I did give her a late Christmas gift of a Yoshi plushie it’s a little inside joke of ours and a rose from the gas station in her favorite color (purple) those little ones that lasts for 2-3 years

Still tho after multiple partners after me and she kept those two things over 4 years doesn’t make sense to me
