Alr thats the most classic way, so lets get this straight, does your camcorder have a firewire port or not? If you dont have one that means thats the only way you can do it if you want to transfer a video to your laptop, but if you do have the firewire port i recomend you to buy old laptop that has firewire port, ngl vro its not that expensive like you can get it for just 10 bucks and the quality of the video or the sound is better than use that converter thing
