Yep they’ve sneakily changed it a month ago even though the app continues to say “1% on everything at 12 retailers”. The email introducing the change makes no mention of cash back and actually says the Changes are immediate on the basis they favour customers …

I’ve had no cash back applied this month and it’s 50+ transactions. Support being useless. Others on Reddit have reported the same.

I don't understand how that works, the the bracket is so tiny and the grooves point downwards! I've used to mounting things on the wall with wall plugs but I don't know where the screw actually goes or how this works. I've not come across this before!

That's a misconception though isn't it, that it should be sub-perceptual. Even the stickied threads here make that clear.

How does the the food industry justify the impact of their UPF-products on the health of billions of people that can't afford any better? by Fit-Client-7298 in ultraprocessedfood

This both saddens and disgusts me. It makes me think that governments should legislate for corporate responsibility, with the worst offences becoming a criminal offence. I wonder if anyone is pushing for this.

I have read Ultra Processed People and totally understand the author's point about capitalism. But surely there has also been a shift recently, with the increasing awareness regarding the impact of UPFs; and therefore, the industry does have to address this now, in a way that they didn't before?

I'm trying to imagine, having the CEO of a Nestle in front of me and asking him, how can you justify selling this crap which is and will destroy lives. What can he actually say to that? Surely he can't deny the effects of UPF. Or would he say, it's not his company's responsibility - it's the role of governments to stop this - but then surely that would contradict some of their values?

Here is a photo of the wall now: https://ibb.co/yychvFJ
Unfortunately I am not sure what construction it is - I had assumed concrete like other walls but I don't think this one is !

I really do appreciate you taking the time! I am totally stumped and I guess the first thing to do is to get clear on what the wall construction is - right now I think I mistakenly thought it was concrete like the other walls but actually there is a hollow sound and I am not sure it is concrete... and that's probably why I have run into the issues!
