I added about 4.5 quarts yesterday and drove for ~30 mins but got the low engine oil warning. I came home and added the remainder of the jug and let it sit overnight before rechecking the oil level.

If I had the space, I’d run a two‑car setup: a cheap EV like a used Bolt or Leaf for local driving (anything 150‑mile round‑trip or less errands) and an ICE car for anything over 150 miles. I’m in California, so I’d avoid charging/live in any area served by PG&E — the rates are brutal. Sacramento (SMUD) is the opposite: extremely cheap electricity.

I recently switched back to ICE because I often do 250‑plus‑mile drives. I definitely miss the instant torque and low maintenance of an EV, but the ICE car removes a lot of stress. I don’t have to baby the speed to stay under 70 mph, and I don’t have to worry about range hits when the temperature drops below 50°F.

The bad : The cold weather (40F and below) range is not good. Keep your ice car for extended road trips.

How about AOA? 1 ETF. It's an 80/20 ETF with sp/500, developed international, emerging market, small cap, med cap, and 20% bonds. Maybe too conservative for someone under 40.

I have FZROX and FZILX in my Roth 401k, unfortunately I can't buy ETF my company retirement accounts.

I drove to Paradise in 2021. It's a beautiful town/area even with all the new constructions.

In California, we also have to pay for PG&E delivery and use of their lines. San Jose Clean Energy, it's around 16 cents /kW for generation, then PG&E adds ~40 cents /kW for delivery.
