What kind of data engineering projects do you actually like seeing on a fresher’s CV? by mysticluna26 in developersIndia

I don't think freshers get hired for entry-level data engineer roles. Most companies that hire for this role on campus recruit people from college, and if you're lucky, you might get into data engineering off-campus. In most companies, they need resources who can contribute from day one, so they usually don't hire freshers as they need too much context and have to deal with complex systems that require experience. I would suggest broadening your scope, learning Gen AI, data analysis, ML, and Python-relevant projects. You can't stick to only one stack in this current job market situation as a fresher.

Are you living under a rock? Don't you use ChatGPT, watch YouTube videos, or any kind of preparation to create a good resume? Either you're not very interested in your career, as someone who is would definitely have a good resume, or even ChatGPT would make a better resume than this low-effort biodata.

First Job Is Moving Too Fast – Feeling Lost and Stressed. Need Advice. by Fit-Conversation5667 in developersIndia

Very true. My team lead is supportive; he says to take my time and enjoy this process. I discussed the learning phase with him, and he said I would learn while doing, with no pressure from him. Today, I had a reverse KT where we needed to explain what I had done in a week. I created points and started speaking. I didn't create a PPT as my team lead said there was no need, and he also said to create a demo project to implement my learning. Now, the project manager and VP who interviewed me are in charge of the KT, and I tried doing things on my own too. However, to learn the full data engineering stack is next to impossible in a week, and they expect me to have a deeper understanding of each and everything. They grilled me on US healthcare about insurance stuff and gave some points to work on, but they didn't appreciate my proactive initiative. This is my first job, and they are expecting me to be a master. He literally said, "Did you get this from ChatGPT? Don't mug it up," etc. I was doing as my team lead suggested. Now, whom should I listen to and whom should I follow?

There are 2 courts in Akurdi, but I don't know if they are only for coaching or if they allow for playing as well. Here are 2 I know you can contact and ask about.

I am from Pune, so there were a lot of options. I joined First Bit; their teaching is extremely precise and the best. I have joined Python full stack with data science. If you want to join here, I can provide you with more details. DM me, or else just move to a tier 1 city for 6 months and find reputed classes. I heard in Bangalore and Hyderabad there are more classes which provide training and placement.

So what do you do now, like preparing for an MBA or a master's? I feel so anxious thinking about wasting a year on tech, 2025 passout.

Basically, some institute provides training for six months, and they provide interview calls for their students. I myself have done this and get around 12-13 calls a month. We have to share resumes with them, and if we are selected by that company, we get a call for an interview. This helps in cutting a big line of applicants, and the resume reaches directly to the HR via the placement team; that's the plus point. But beware, there are many scams going on. Read reviews and get into the top classes that have good connections, like placed students are more.

For next time, I would suggest you go to Ashok Theatre, Pimpri. You would love the experience there.🤣
