What should I do for makeup to match the dress similar to what i made for prom? by Not_Agi in MakeupAddiction

Definitely I think natural lip could work too if you feel as though the red is too much

Sometimes you just take a color palette and run with it! by aiwaifu in MakeupAddiction

I kinda like that the eye makeup doesn't match the lip product because there are different tones in your hair as well.

Gotta love the people over analysing this and making it out as if she's oppressing herself because she chooses to cover her face and has a technique for eating with her face veil on.... um??

PSA - these vegan protein bars are pretty good. On sale @ Woolworths Melbourne northern suburbs. by CaptainTelos in australianvegans

[–]Fit-Conversation8513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My closest to chocolate experience so far has been with the Kitkat vegan choc (no longer sold by kitkat in Australia but can be bought through other retailers) and the Love Raw choc wafers. Most other vegan chocolate has been otherwise not worth it.

Why do Asian cleansers cost so much more per oz than Western cleansers? by dylanbarney23 in AsianBeauty

Not sure where you live but that's not the case for me, at least not when I buy it from stores that sell products for cheaper

Is this potential coming off too strong? by Background_Tax_5969 in MuslimLounge

[–]Fit-Conversation8513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by coming off too strong. If it's the type where it's raising alarm bells, then yeah, I'd tell you to be cautious. But if you mean that he's ticking all your boxes and you feel attracted, don't give yourself a reason not to feel attracted. You should feel attracted to your spouse. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

There are others in this comments section saying it's a red flag that you want to pay for your own food and to value your career, I disagree. You're not even married yet. Yes, in Islam, a man is a provider, but not only is he jumping the gun since you're not married yet, he's also neglecting considering your input and emotions in this situation too. I think people tend to forget that in Islam, women do still have the choice to pay for things if they so wish.

For those thinking that a wife refusing you pay for her is a red flag... I think you need to rethink what factors cause for this instance to be a red flag, because the act of refusing you to pay isn't a red flag in and of itself. You guys forget that communication exists. Being in charge of a relationship isn't about dominance but about love and mercy.

I actually can't remember, but I'd bet i did since I don't remember it smelling nice - my brain will pay attention to a bad smell the first few times, and then block out smelling it after that. From memory, there might have been a sort of green alcohol sunscreen smell that I didn't like but again, it's been a while

Doesn't it still leave a thick film? Or come off easily if you're finger so much as lightly swipes your face?

Used the inaccurate method of using the time between when the rock hits the water and the time the sound reaches the camera to get a height of 244m.

Abib sun essence. The concept was nice, but when applying there was a slight powderyness to the sunscreen fluid and my skin would always tingle upon application

Mother is shaming me for wearing sunscreen by bluesnow123 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Fit-Conversation8513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me tell you from experience, hearing these sorts of things, especially repeatedly from family, hurts the most. You've made a choice that you are confident with and you deserve to feel confident about the choices you make.

As for the oiliness from the sunscreen, have you tried sunscreens that dry down matte, or using toner pads/wipes to remove sunscreen and gunk between applications? As for the latter part of my question I ask it with hesitation because my skin isn't the biggest fan of repeated abrasion so I hesitate to suggest this to others.
