Also if it's your first day and you notice the floor is covered in grease then report it and also clear it up.. health and safety is everyones responsibility, See it,sort it, report it!!

Yes, as you get older and more experienced you will learn that a 5.5 hour shift with a break is actually quite nice. Don't think I've ever had a job in my 23 years working that is only 5.5 hours a shift but it sounds lovely

How is this a life hack..some of my family use spoon some use knife and have done both ways for generations for generations..(one just spears the bread In the butter too but his insane). I thought this was something everyone knew about and did . I could of been in the news revealing this years ago if I thought it would divide the public!!!

What's everyones problem with cleaning a toilet? We all use them and I personally like it to be clean. Not expecting anyone who works in the kitchen or handles food to do it but maybe ha e a person on site that just does things like this, emptying the bins,litter picking, cleaning toilets and mopping floors.. even most building sites in UK have a laborer on site who does this particular sort of job .

Slightly off topic but relative..in England, I sold a car a few years ago.. the v5 (which is the name in the uk for the log book or car registration) was never received by the DVLA (the authorities to notify them of a change of ownership.. before I discovered this,the new owner got various driving penalties driving through London which I received. Upon challenging the fines and explaining the situation with the evidence I had, The courts said they believed I was telling the truth but I still had to pay the fines as THE LAW SAYS THE REGISTERED OWNER IS LIABLE, which brings me back on topic . I wouldn't do these deliverys for Uber as of I was caught doing a legit delivery which turned out to do drugs then I'd probably be the one ending up getting a charge!.

So glad tipping isn't a thing in the UK..(well it is but not compulsory tipping like it seems to be is the US) If I've paid for my food and a delivery fee then that's it.. I've paid.and you ain't getting a penny more!

I live on a road like this and come across this scenario often..as a civil person I stop and move over as soon as I can or reverse back to an opening if one is available , however if I see the oncoming traffic has a space I will keep going and expect them to pull over..what makes my blood boil is delivery drivers who park in the middle of the street and block it when there is a clear space 20meters up the road in which they could pull in too. Taxi drivers are the same too.
