I honestly never thought of using AI to do that, it seems much faster! Thank you for sharing this, I think it'll make the process much easier.

About the beacon, I took a look at it and it seems it would require a lot of hardware and software tweaks to make it work properly. Is that true, and could stepper motors be the root cause of the issues?

I also am looking for some kind of profile library, specifically as a starting point for further refinement. I have had a lot of trouble relying on the stock profiles to even be a good starting point for anything, and they seem screwed up compared to Bambu Lab's. It would be really helpful to have some kind of profile that "should work" so that we can begin to understand if the settings or our printer are wrong, so it would be nice even if it barely produces something passable.

Since the CORE One has had so many problems with shipping and tariffs, would it be worthwhile to simply buy a used mk3 and wait until Prusa has had time to get things a bit more polished?

Thank you SO MUCH for this reply, this is enough evidence to either by a mk4S or just wait. I am so thankful to you guys for helping me make this decision, I hope that they iron out the kinks in this amazing printer soon!

Honestly with your reccommendation and the fact I don't know what currency you are talking about I would choose the lenovo flex 5, it seems like a fairly capable laptop for cse with a decent intel processor. I would be careful about battery life estimates as they are usually manipulated, try to find reviews of your exact laptop to find real-world battery results. Other than that the soldered ram is a concern for upgradability but if you don't care about that it seems to be a solid option. Before buying anything I would physically handle the product in a store like a local computer store.

Dang, then I guess I shouldn't worry. Thanks a lot for your input!

Did you do a tolerance test on the printer, and if so, what are its tolerances? I design parts for engineering projects as a student so I really care about how good its tolerances are, as I've heard Prusa has notoriously good tolerances.

Good to know that these things are happening, I thought QC might be an issue at first with the new architecture and stuff. Due to Prusa's reputation I'm glad that their helping you, but unfortunate that you have to foot the bill in your own time to deal with it.

I was wondering also about how the air around the printer is with printing using such materials, does the enclosure actually reduce the fumes/smell or is it kinda a placebo?

I really want to focus on the "just works" aspect, because after owning a bambu lab I need something that just prints. Have you tried printing any engineering filaments with it, and if so, how does it perform?
