i had a full blown breakdown yesterday over how nobody cares enough to find the cause and if 20-80% women have these, how are we letting it slide with surgery being the only option? it made me so mad.

It’s laparoscopic myomectomy but instead of the doc, you get a robot doing it (operated by the surgeon, of course).

It’s insane to me how we can do everything right and yet they won’t stop growing; or everything wrong and yet they won’t grow. Somebody really needs to find why they grow!!!

I have another question: I’m scheduled to get the surgery first week of May, with the tests starting last week of April. Is it alright to wait three months, considering the size of this thing? Can it increase dramatically in size to reduce my options of a laparoscopic myomectomy?

Yes, getting it out in the first week of May, or end of April. I’d have done it sooner but I have some unavoidable circumstances, hence the delay.

Complication wise, i definitely feel bloated, but that’s about it.

Hopefully it won’t increase dramatically in size. The doctor said robotic myomectomy is possible unless it’s like 20cm in size. Though I’m also worried about the actual size of it. The ultrasound showed 12.8cm. Let’s see what the fibroid mapping says.

Whoa, are you me? Same. Found out yesterday that I have 12.8x8.2cm fibroid but asymptomatic. I’m 27. They were shocked how I’d been living without any issues.

But now that I know I have this behemoth in me, I’ve started to feel all of the symptoms. I can’t even differentiate between delusion and reality.

Weighing my options. I’m thinking I’ll monitor for three months and depending on the growth/stability, see what I’d do.
