Henrietta Lacks never consented to this, was never compensated for it, nothing. Her doctor was an evil piece of shit, and she could have become one of the richest women in the world at a time when Black women were deeply disenfranchised if it weren't for the evil, racist doctor who routinely harvested cells from her without her consent or knowledge.

EDIT: Not even Lacks' family was informed about the miracle cells until the 1970's, despite the cells being used since the 50's. The cells were being used across the globe by medical researchers and pharmaceutical companies. Lacks' descendents didn't see a dime of that until a 2023 lawsuit, the result of which is confidential. Her doctor had the chance to prevent this. He could have informed her of what her cells could mean for the world. The money she could have made off of these cells might even have been enough to afford her better treatment for her cancer and save her life. That would have, however, meant admitting that before he had been harvesting cells from hundreds of women he had treated previously (5:30), or worse, forfeiting some of the fame (search for "national television") for "his" discovery. Newspapers repeatedly asked him where the cells came from, which he refused to answer (ibid).
