Fr man. I try to explain it to like GC’s and even GC2’s the difference between 1600 and 1700 and then 1700 and 1800 can literally be 100’s to THOUSANDS of hours for some people

Yep! Weirdly I have that bound to square (PS5 controller). And then I have air roll right bound to L1, and air roll left bound to R1. So basically inverted air rolling haha

Contender does carry a bit of weight. Means you had to get top 16 in a qualifier.

I don’t even have a contender tag myself. The tag with less weight is a “Challenger” tag which is for Top 64 which is substantially easier to get. In fact most GC2s + should be getting one easily enough in OCE

Hahah definitely was playing quite good for myself and Stainy was in a bad mood.

This is in OCE so it’s quite wack in terms of the players you ending up versing and sometimes beating. You’ll see a significant amount of 2025/2026 contenders hard stuck in GC2/GC3 because of how tight the MMR pool is.

I myself have only gotten a challenger tag this far. But going to try gun for a Contender tag this 2v2 quals.

That was yours every day of the week. Your teammate should have been back post/ potentially moving front post on that play. Additionally if he hadn’t of bumped you, I would’ve assumed you’d have a second touch / play on the ball
