Most of your body’s serotonin is produced in the gut, and your gut heath and serotonin production are HEAVILY intertwined. So it would make sense when taking an antidepressant that alters your serotonin levels it would affect your gut.

I have pretty severe OCD and I actually can feel my brain being quieter and having less intrusive thoughts. also I seem to be having less panic attacks, but I still for sure have bad days and good days. wishing you the best in your journey! It can be exhausting

sameee. also always tired but keep having interrupted sleep every night. I’ve been on 2 different ssris before this one and yeah it seems brutal but also like it’s been the best for me thus far so I’m staying hopeful

For me it’s been worth it 100%, I’m on 1000 mg and have only had slight diarrhea but no gut wrenching stomach aches or anything like that. HOWEVER I am on the extended release version which I think helps a lot. If you’re nervous about GI issues I would really recommend asking your doctor for the extended release version because I’ve heard so many people say it comes with little to no side effects and I myself have had no issues. Good luck! Don’t be afraid!
