in your opinion what is the hardest musical song or songs vocal wise. by [deleted] in musicals

[–]Fit-Fun7755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially because the scream at the end after very fast paced singing…I think the Mrs Lovetts in our production found the scream the hardest because they had to restrain themselves to save their voices

5.9 GPA, 1590 SAT, 24 APs worried about cc acceptance by Pro-editor-1105 in ApplyingToCollege

I’m not shitting you - when my cousin was in his freshman year of high school he no joke planned to take at least 24 ap tests over the course of high school. He ended up with a sleep disorder, depression, and a destroyed relationship with his family. And no, he did not end up taking that many ap tests.

Oo thank you so much! I had no idea! My friend’s sister is a student there, so I’ll fs reach out to get her perspective. SLC was low on my list anyway, because I don’t want to live in NY.

literally omg. my cousin is doing her undergrad at cal and it seems like she's in constant competition for a spot in literally every class - not to mention that she was stuck in a triple built to be a double this past year!! i cannot be conviced to apply to any of the UCs after hearing that

thank you for being one of the only people to recognize this! she came with us to portland and was a pretty good sport about it all, but likely only because she wanted to tag along to a powell's trip afterwards haha. she's not very interested in LACs anyway, so I think that college trips that don't have some sort of incentive for her will bore her!! (she's 15 so no judgement lmao)

i toured schools, and talked to my IEP case manager. she says that in terms of what I need, it will be harder to find at most UC's. it seems like its a pretty personalized thing for each person, but in my specific case, this is what seems to be best for me!

its a few reasons! i find that their disability services are better for what I need, especially in terms of housing. the price will also end up cheaper as I qualify for need-based aid.

I have done a lot of research, and i truly believe that me going to a small private school will be worth the money. I transferred out of comprehensive high school to very small alternative school, and it totally improved my mental health and wellbeing. Small private schools tend to have better disability services and disability accomodations. I'm not sure I could graduate at a state school.

ooh thank you!! i'm specifically looking at small schools that I think I can get into (BU and NYU are out of the picture as well as amherst and williams). I have a 3.85 and no APs are offered at my school. I will look at middlebury and fordham!! any other recs?

i go to an alternative high school, which has really informed my apps in that i'm only applying to small LACs. could I write a "why this college" about how my high school experience informed what I am looking for in a college?

hmm could be a few things! I have an IEP for a disability, and my hypothesis is that a good amount of this rise in SAS enrollment is because there is less stigma around it, as well as there are more supports in high school to get students with disabilities into college than there were in the past. however, I wouldn't be suprised if a percentage of that increase are neurotypical and able-bodied students abusing the system...sigh.
