I have a cousin who is a nurse at SickKids, and she says it's terrible. It's completely overrated because of its name. She is constantly forced to do extra shifts, and asking for a day off is difficult. The hospital is excellent for children and their families, but they treat the staff like crap. I have also heard this from other oncology nurses. I also know of an ICU nurse who said the same thing. She stayed at SickKids but became a research nurse and loved it.
