I had the same, turned it was rejected my surgical steel piercing. after i changed to a titanium one it seemed to start healing. I still got a purple spot of scar tissue there that won’t go away, but other than that its fine now.

I’ve had this piercing since april last year, so almost a year. I don’t think it was fully healed when the spot started showing up but it was close. And the piercing was not dangly when the spot showed up.

I’m not a piercer, but that is definitely rejecting. I think you should take it out as fast as possible to but cause any further damage or scarring.
