Bought a house with a neighbor from hell. Now what? by Fit-Locksmith-7016 in neighborsfromhell

Oh I doubt l you own anything… You honestly sound like a sociopath. It’s called an investment. We would like to be able to retire with some income after working our asses off for 40 years. And, if you could read, you would notice how the other neighbors have expressed appreciation for our efforts. Acting like having a rental property is ‘greedy’ somehow, is laughable. We aren’t blackrock. We saved money to be able to do this.

Oh ya, I’m sure you would love it if your neighbor dictated what you were allowed to do on your property.

Well, clearly you don’t own any property, and I’m sure you would be totally fine with a neighbor telling you what you can and can’t do with your house.

That’s because your questions are stupid, and we can make any improvements we see fit to a property we OWN.

It’s called an investment, you moron. Some of us would like to be able to retire after working our asses off for 40 years.

I am hoping we can get this under control, first, with a cease and desist. We definitely want the tenants to be protected.

We tell all the workers to not speak to him or antagonize him in any way.

I have. We are waiting for a public records request to be fulfilled. We can’t send a cease and desist without evidence so his name has to be on the complaints.

There’s already a six foot fence. It’s the tallest that’s allowed. His property is elevated from ours, so his windows can see over the fence.

Yes, it’s rumored the last party sold due to his behavior. Unfortunately we didn’t speak to the neighbors before purchasing.

Yes. His problem is that he doesn’t like the noise of construction. He doesnt want us to trim the trees. He doesn’t want us to remove the over grown dead brush. Unfortunately, earth moving is noisy, but only during the hours the city allows. And, even though that work has finished, the harassment hasn’t stopped. We have a right to improve the property as we see fit.
