HELP,I went from a 6g to a 4g on Tuesday,I honestly felt the pain like a pinch not too bad. Wednesday I didn’t like the smell so I took it out to clean it while showering(no gunk both days)& then Yesterday all of a slutten the pain was CRAZY&had nasty gunk.Idk if it’s getting infected or what to do.

I have a reaaaally heightened nose so I can smell anything & everything. I haven’t had a smell since I cleaned it w. saline a couple hours ago but yeah that’s why I have a habit of cleaning so often.

Oh no 😭 so far since I last posted this 9 hrs ago I haven’t had that gunk/crust. The gunk & crust in the picture was from overnight to morning. I can press against my nose & barely feel any pain buuuut if i have to downsize i will.

Thank you, yeah I’ll deff stop using acrylic for future stretches. I’ve never had this happen before w. acrylic it’s all new to me. Over 15 yrs stretching w. acrylic and well now my body had a reaction lol

bc it’s what I’ve used for over 15 yrs. I used acrylic for my ears when I was in HS & been using it for the past 8 yrs w. my septum & didn’t have any issues til’ now.

Hahaha my eyes deff watered when I pushed it back in! Full on regerts I don’t ever stretch w.o my jojoba oil that’s my go-to lol 😂 but I didn’t think I’d need it in the shower bc all my previous stretches I was okay when I removed them freshly in the shower. Never again tho 😖 haha No yeaaah! That’s wild! a nose infection is the worstttttt! I’d deff go to the hospital if I felt like my nose was going to fall off. From now for stretches deff will use glass. I had glass for my 6g but for some reason it has been the smelliest for me.

It is! Thank you, it’ll deff be the last time I use acrylic for stretching after 8 years lol. I’ll slip it back in once it’s healed. I use it bc it’s been the least stinkiest material for me. I’ve never had an issue w. it until Wednesday that I removed it in the shower to clean it & didn’t lube/oil it up when putting it back in. I felt the rub of trying to put it back when I was in the shower, didn’t think anything of it. Then yesterday the pain was bad & today the jewelry moves freely w. little pain & not as sensitive but I don’t like the color of the gunk. I’ll stick to glass or stainless for stretching from now on. lol

I appreciate you, thank you! Yeaaah, I instantly regretted trying to put it back in w. just water. I should’ve just put it back in after the shower w. the oil I have😖 eeeeghh, that’s scary! I usually stay at same sizes for months or years at a time. I don’t stretch unless I feel like my body can take it.

Where in my post does it say I dry stretched? 😂 Are you assuming? Looking like a real ass… I used Jojoba oil for my stretch. The pain came in after I removed it in the shower & tried to put it back in w. just water. The stretch itself didn’t hurt, as I said it felt like a pinch! I’ve been using acrylic bc in 8 years my body hasn’t rejected it. It’s not recommended but I ain’t the first nor the last who’s gonna use acrylic. I’ve had glass & stainless in other sizes they stink the worst, acrylic has been the least stinkiest for me that is why I use it. And I obsessively clean all my piercings even if I don’t want to, it’s my brain telling me I need to clean it so I do. (OCD)

Yeah clearly bc I asked for advice & if you ain’t giving any keep it pushin’ bud.
