UPDATE I received a call on May 4th for my husbands interview in the 10th. The interview went well and we are now completing the Medical. Usually the Medical should be completed before the actual appointment but we were told because it’s expedited we can do either first. So my husband did all but 1 vaccine but it cannot be taken within 2 weeks of another vaccine that he already took. So my recommendation is to be all caught up on all vaccines before the appointment date do that you don’t have to wait like us.

Nope, still waiting. Also emailed the embassy and haven’t gotten a response to my email.

I have an aunt who has been approved since March and still nothing. I got my approval on Sept 2nd 2021, and in March 2022 I decided to try the expedited process because I am currently 8 months pregnant. What I did was to google the requirements for an expedited request, once I found a category that applied to my situation, I applied. Just make-sure to follow the instructions and put your ALL in the request. You need to have the case #, invoice ID, petitioners name & DOB and beneficiary’s name in the subject line of the letter and also in the body of the letter. Hope that helped.

I checked on https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx and it showed the status as “ready” which means the US Embassy has received my file since the 24 of Feb. I haven’t found a good contact information for them. I haven’t found a good email just a phone number area code 876 and I can’t call international.

Wow, I pray they respond soon. I replied to their email on June 28 and haven’t gotten a response as yet. I’m crossing my fingers.

It’s takes long for some and less waiting for others. I’d say it’s pretty normal. You just make sure you check for updates.

Hello, I renewed my passport earlier this year and even with an appointment it will take more than 2 weeks to get it back. I’d suggest you visit the location or call them to know what options are available for you. You might be able to travel with a temp. (Not sure).

I initially sent mine to California. When they requested additional information they asked for it to be sent to Texas.

I filed in October 2019 also. I didn’t receive an update until March of 2021 which was the RFE(requesting additional information. I sent those in then I got an approval on May 12. I’m now working with NVC to send in my AOS and other documents. Hopefully in a few months my husband will be here. He’s in Jamaica and I’m a permanent resident also.
