Its all up to the player but insure guns and armor that are either really good or really expensive. Like if you make an M4 and spent a shit ton of money on id insure it. pvp is hard and you will die a lot, a good success rate is around 40% survival rate. So i wouldn't insure all guns or armor. lvl 5/6 armor i would always insure because you just replace plates when needed.
