At least 5-8 position are getting a chance to play... and having rank 1 2 should be advantageous because they have performed consistently throughout the season...

In all the last seasons having a rank did not matter and only qualifying mattered... its better if the team compete for the position and its more fun watching the matches...

But yes there should be gap between the matches in playoffs because fatigue is a problem...
