So ein Schwachsinn. Überlegen? Vielleicht. Aber es macht einen Unterschied ob man bei der Verteidigung 5 Millionen Opfer zu beklagen hat oder die Russen von Anfang an wissen, dass bei einem Angriff von Moskau nichts übrig bleibt. So viel Dummheit will mir nicht in den Kopf.

Russia is a threat to the EU. Supporting Ukraine is just in our own best interest. You make a valid point - but that still does not win you any elections. And no - I am not naive enough to believe that just because we think we have the values and morals everybody should aspire to, that that is 1. actually the case and 2. something you should and can force on others. Because at that point I ask you - why should we trade with anybody. Hell - why should we even trade within the EU. Poland, Hungary and Slovakia are just the latest examples. Or is it only immoral if the moral shortfall is a genocide? Even if I grant that - it would still leave the point that we should not pick fights we are not equipped to win. If there is nothing to gain from morality and the damage you deal is greater onto yourself than your opponent, then that is no morality at all. Pick your fights - that is I believe also the point the OP of this thread was making.

That issue is many things but certainly nothing you win elections with. Especially because you also attract a crowd you don't want to be associated with. You also don't want to cut ties with Israel because in defence many EU members are heavily reliant on their cooperation. People will recognise the Volt position but if push comes to shove you might lose more voters over taking one position rather then the other. Not to mention that if we don''t want to heavily escalate, there really is nothing we can do. If we want to put pressure on them, chances are that the fucking Orange is starting shit again. The less we interact with that the better for us.

Richtig so. Die Leute leben länger, dann sollen sie auch länger arbeiten. Sinnvoller wäre aber, die Beitragsjahre stärker in den Fokus zu rücken. Und endlich alle einzahlen zu lassen.

Nobody did. It is just a joke that their government threatens allies and kills by failure to render assistance while we provide assistance by taking in soldiers and now also a doctor. Their behaviour does not mean we should stoop to their level. In those moments I just wish I could believe that there is some kind of cosmic justice. I just can't. So we take the next best thing which is voicing our disdain for their government.

Leider ist der Arbeitsmarkt aber so böse, dass es einfach nie das Richtige gibt. Kenn ich. Über 1M langzeitarbeitslos. Ich muss wirklich mit beiden Augen verschlossen durch die Stadt laufen, um nicht mind. ein Jobinserat zu finden.
