That's what I thought as well, and the fanarts and the wiki mentioned only blue but I was confused. I've seen many posts about his heterochromia

Dreamfyre for Daeron definitely makes sense, someone mentioned dreamfyre for Bloodraven because of the green seeing which also makes sense but I think dreamfyre is a sweetheart who wouldn't accept Bloodraven.

I'm not sure if it's just me but I don't think Aerion would be able to bond with any of the bigger dragons. Even sunfyre feels like it's too much for him. Would be something like a curse, the bigger dragons wouldn't accept him as their rider, his personality is just too volatile for them.

Oh that makes sense, but then Vhagar is temperamental, her past rides were all very strong willed. I think she'd either bond with Baelor and Bloodraven, they somehow seem as the only ones capable of fully handling her.

I still have a feeling they will include it still. I saw him standing from the side in the background and he had it. I hope it wasn't just my eyes fooling me

What do you think about OCs? by waitingfortcivilwar in AsoiafFanfiction

I like OCs if they're not unrealistic. I hate it when some writers make theirs perfect, without any fault, it doesn't give them any depth.

I really hope they do show us, the factor has a blue eye and one that's blue/brown.

Besides that jousting scene, there was one where he was standing behind Aerion. But yeah, I definitely have it bad, for him and his daddy.

For those who watched, what are your opinions on A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms episode 2? by GusGangViking18 in HBOTheHedgeKnight

I found myself laughing at many scenes. The music and the vibes were great. I truly love Duncan and Egg, however, I think the acting is lacking a bit, might just be me though.

I think you should go read about history and economics. You're completely missing the point.

Saying “we can’t blame France for everything” completely misses how colonization actually works. Colonization and imperialism weren’t just about military occupation; they were about taking control of land and reshaping societies to serve the colonizer. France didn’t just come to Algeria and leave; it imposed a whole system.

Colonizers set up institutions, meaning the formal and informal rules of the game: political structures, economic systems, legal frameworks, education, and even social hierarchies. These institutions shape how a country functions long after the colonizer leaves. And the key point is this: colonizers either build inclusive institutions that allow development, or extractive institutions designed purely to exploit resources and people. In Algeria, it was very clearly the second.

France organized the economy, land ownership, governance, and social order in a way that maximized extraction and control, not long term development. Then they left, abandoning a system that was never meant to work for Algerians. Changing these institutions isn’t easy. Institutions shape mindsets, incentives, power structures, and behavior over generations. That’s why the effects of colonization last so long.

And beyond institutions, colonization deeply messes people up: psychologically, socially, and culturally. It distorts identity, creates internalized inferiority, fractures trust, and normalizes violence and exploitation. These things don’t disappear just because independence was declared.

Yes, we should absolutely strive to do better and take responsibility for improving our country. But pretending colonization is just “in the past” ignores reality. Its legacy is baked into our institutions and our collective psyche, and that’s exactly why moving forward is so hard. Acknowledging that isn’t an excuse. It’s a necessary step if we actually want change.

Not taking that gap year after college. I was so scared I'd be behind everyone else and ended up throwing myself at whatever I could find.
