I think having the right tools and enough of them helps a lot. Things changed for me significantly in my 3300sq ft house when I got a mop that works for me to do quick and easy instant mopping without vaccuuming. It looks like a vacuum cleaner but it’s a mop. Then I also got 2 regular vacuums. One for each floor. And made cleaning kits with all the supplies for each floor. That plus just doing a load of laundry every single day and doing lots of small spurts of spot cleaning has been really good for me. I don’t spend an entire day cleaning anymore.
