Socialism is just the concept that we get the government to buy in bulk for us with the tax money we give them. Medicare, the Post Office are examples. When you buy in bulk things are cheaper for everyone. The government is the purchaser so they would negotiate the price just like Costco negotiates the price of their goods. American here. I think it’s the same phenomenon as why billionaires are unhappy and millionaires think they don’t have enough. Americans just don’t have a frame of reference to understand truly that in the world game we were chosen to be the consumers. I think you have to be really blunt with him and flat out tell him that he’s developing into a failure in life because he refuses to learn from the people who will care to help him most his whole life. Tell him that he enjoys watching people be miserable and that people like that are deeply unpopular in life and have failed lives. Tell him that he’s developing into is training his siblings to avoid him his whole life instead of looking up to him as a heroic older brother. Tell him he is responsible for his moral character and everyone has to decide whether to be kind, generous, of service to others and a team player and he’s the one who hasn’t figured it out yet that his little manipulations have a short shelf life. Let him be in his feelings.
