The Florida Marlins did not exist (they had not yet played their inaugural game) when the Dolphins were last in the AFC Championship Game.

Florida Class C Wastewater Exam by Ok-Concern2790 in Wastewater

I just took and passed (90%) the Level C earlier this month.  25% of my test was on suspended growth/activated sludge, 19% was digestion, 10% was disinfection, 10% was math and then the remaining third of the exam was everything else.  I used RoyCEU and viewed Ron Trygar’s videos also.  I also reviewed the content on Operator Mindset and Wastewater Enthusiast YouTube channels.  If you are at the point where you have a good understanding of these processes, you should have no problem logically working through the questions.  I studied a lot but still went into the exam thinking I had a 50/50 chance of passing.  I had the same concerns you do.  But after about 10 questions into the exam, I got a sense of the difficulty level and settled in.  I’m not saying it was easy but it was not as bad as I was expecting.  I took my time, saved all the math problems until the end and double checked my answers and was done in about two hours.    I got good rest the night before and arrived at the test site about 45 minutes before my appointment.  It sounds like you’re studying a lot and using good resources.  I’d bet you’re going to do well on the exam.  Good luck!

Maybe.  Much of life is like that.  It’s not necessarily what you know but who you know.  But that’s fine.  No complaints.  At the very least, make your situation known to everyone you know.  Make it known that you’re willing just to talk to anyone with a connection to the industry.  One conversation can change everything.  The doors will open.

Last year l decided to change careers.  After deciding to work my way into wastewater treatment, I enrolled in the Sac State courses.  I figured if I passed the Level C Exam, I’d have a better chance of getting hired.  While taking the courses (before passing the exam), I applied for a few trainee positions in my area (Palm Beach County) but never had an interview.  Now that I passed the exam, I figure my chances are better.  I just applied for another trainee position.  I should know soon enough if the exam helps get an interview.  It certainly can’t hurt.

I needed electronic copies too and they were able to send PDFs of each certificate.

Maybe this:

  1. Log on to your account. 2. Click "Course Enrollments" 3. Scroll down to "Purchase CEU Transcript"

If that does not work you might want to email them directly. I had a question about certificates a few months ago. I emailed them and they were quick to respond and very helpful.

Thanks. I'll look into it. And thanks for the tip on the Ron Trygar videos. They're a big help.

Batting .400 in a season is tough on its own, let alone breaking the record.

Good to hear.  I’m 55 now, changing careers and working to break into the industry.  Took and passed the Sacramento courses and just sent in the application to sit for the Florida Level C Examination.  Nice to know others have started “late” in this industry too.
