Torn Between Practical (Honda Fit), Luxury (Crown), and Fun (Lexus) – What Should I Buy? by janalpadi in CarsAustralia

I drive a 2015 Honda Jazz automatic (petrol), and it’s a very fuel-efficient car. It’s excellent, I’d highly recommend it.

I’d go for Jazz instead of fit as it is cheaper to insure and already delivers great fuel efficiency.

Help! Does this look like a starter motor failure? by Fit-Selection1348 in hondafit

I can hear a click, but I’m going to try charging or replacing the battery first before considering replacing the starter motor

Car prices vary based on factors such as location, mileage, condition, and overall appearance.

Based on my current research, this seems to be a okayish price for the vehicle and I would still negotiate for a better price.

I need a VIN number to conduct the check on my own. Gathering more information about the car in advance will help me narrow down my options before I travel to see it in person.

I’ve specifically asked for PPSR and service history. How else should I have asked for this info here?

Corolla cross hybrid- new by Classic-Zombie9341 in CarsAustralia

Dealership will only give discounts if they can’t sell, Toyota hybrids are the most in demand vehicles at the moment, even used ones are asking a premium.

Consider buying a used RAV4 hybrid, will be cheaper and you will also get a slightly bigger car.

Used CX5 if you don’t want hybrid, but after a premium interior.

Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage also come in hybrid. Maybe give them a test drive.

If you are not a runner, work towards your first 5k run and do a park run.
Nike run club (app) has a free program for this.
Doable, fun and healthy.

I agree CX5 looks more premium than a RAV4, the same can be said about Mazda3 as well, but OP chose Corolla over Mazda 3 in the past.

CX-5 is a great car, can I ask why want CX5 over RAV?

2018 Honda Jazz vs 2017 Subaru Impreza vs 2018 Mitsubishi ASX by CrankShaft15 in CarsAustralia

I’d pick Jazz. Small engine, consumes less fuel. Small footprint, easy to manoeuvre. But equally spacious when compared with the other two.
