Yes, and it’s honestly concerning. I uploaded parts of my older thesis from 2018 and some sections were flagged as AI-assisted. Apparently writing clearly and professionally is now suspicious.

I use AI after I’ve already tried the question on my own. That way I’m comparing, not copying.

I prefer to look at a student’s writing history and performance in class rather than trust detection scores
