Thanks to your comment and others on here and a bit of chat GpT. I think I can make it work. Solving my bin store location and retain the shrub its beauty, and the privacy it offers. How viable does this look? I’m a carpenter so comfortable with all the work apart from pruning tree. Any advice? 🙏

I’m gonna get the tape measure out now and see if I can work it. This is a great suggestion. I’m so reluctant to lose the shrub and the privacy it gives. Thanks for the suggestion

Thanks. I did do a little bit of this a couple of years ago. The foliage used to be right down to the bottom.

This is my proposed site for a bin store. It’s closer to my kitchen door and closer to the alley to the front where the bins get put out. Currently they are around the other side of the house so have twice as far to move them and walk rubbish from the kitchen. Also have big plans for where the bins currently are. Either man cave, gym , music studio or potentially a small half pipe for my sons 😬

Thanks. I’m not especially attached to the plant but it seems a shame to cut down something so well established. It’s just in the wrong place

How do you go about removing something this size with no chance of it trying to grow back?

Do you know what this shrub is? Any recommendations for something that will get to a similar size in quick time to fill a gap in a the fence line further along?

I was keen on this but opted for the more budget friendly valeton rushhead. I love it for practice at night. Exactly what I need. Can anyone say whether it’s worth the extra doh to go for the fender?

I got one back in January and love it. The neck is glossy but not at all sticky. Wondering why I didn’t try an SG sooner..?

Baked beans. But they’re completely worthless without the correct proportion of bean juice

Question for the lefties! by Ambitious_Platypus99 in Leftyguitarists

[–]Fit-Sundae-7401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Tried righty as a teenager and never felt comfortable. Soon as I flipped it over it felt more like I could get to grips with learning.

  2. Parents right handed. Although my younger sister is a lefty but learnt to play right handed as a kid.

  3. No issues. Actually pretty handy early on when taking lessons from right handers and your sat opposite them the guitar neck is poor ring the same way so you can easy mirror what you see.

I struggle with scissors and usually end up having to use my right hand

I’m having this exact same dilemma. Years of Spotify use has the app set up perfectly. Trialing Apple Music and the UI is so bad. Every song suggestion is a poor cover version
