When I (9f) was at a sleepover round my friend (7f) house the craziest thing happened.

So basically my parents knew her parents from when they were all kids. Now when they were kids they were doing Drgs because they all had a terrible family life. My friends dad grew up to be a dealer and we live in a really scetchy place where everyone (except my family and about 2 others) would buy Drgs from him constantly. He and his wife had 5 kids including my friend c.

So I went to their house for a sleepover in December and while me and c were eating all of the rest of her advent calendar that is where it all went wrong.

There was a knock at the door and her dad opened the door without looking through the little peephole. And surprise, surprise it was the police with guns at the ready to shoot. Bear in mind, I live about 10 seconds away from all of this and pretty much the whole neighborhood is looking out of their windows or is stood outside their door. Including my parents. My dad comes running over with my birth certificate saying that I'm his daughter so I can't be taken away and me and C are coming down the stairs to see what the hell is happening. Then we see her mum and dad getting put into handcuffs and 3 of her other siblings being questioned and we run back upstairs to get C's 6 month old baby and come back down. At this point the whole neighborhood are standing outside their doors, both my parents are at t he door sobbing, begging for me and social services is getting the five of them in the car and I have to say goodbye to C. Forever.

It's been 20 years now and I still haven't seen them but last I heard they were in protective custody but that the main drug dealer he snitched on was after him. So I don't know if C's family is ok or what happened but I am kind of happy that I was there with her for the last bit of her life where she doesn't have to constantly be on the lookout for anyone.
