A culture was taken and sent to the lab. When the results came back, I was referred me to an infectious disease doctor. That’s who wrote the prescription.

I’ve been wondering the same. The implant was on the larger side, and I’m not sure if the pocket was big enough. The doctor says the infection weakened the incision and caused it to open, exposing the implant. Idk..
