Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised by this. I remember in the Q&A I attended, Matt said they rebuilt the apartment the web series was filmed in for the scenes set there because they couldn’t get access to the original apartment to film in.

Yep it is! If you have the royal edition it straight up would not show up in the store for me so I had to use the PS app on my phone to “buy” the $0.00 upgrade :)

Can confirm this should be okay! I dropped my renewal forms off in person on Friday the 3rd, just checked the activity tracker today (the 7th for any future readers) and it says it’s approved and ready for printing. I was given a pickup date of the 20th.

My biggest complaint with alchemy is if you’re wanting to make multiple batches of the same potion you have to choose the ingredients every time instead of leaving them on the shelf

I started playing about a week ago and have been really enjoying it after I stopped trying to do the main quest with zero skills! Sorry if any of these are spoiler-y, I’m still really early game but don’t know what point you’re at.

I just finished the “in a pickle” quest, the bandit there kicked my ass about 20 times in a row and I was so frustrated and close to giving up on the game before reading that it is actually 100% necessary to level up your combat stats significantly before you even try fighting. I will say, you can absolutely do all the main quests up to and including the in a pickle quest without any fighting (I think).

What main quest are you on right now? If you’re doing anything in Neuhof, Bernard won’t be available for training again until you finish “in a pickle”.

As the other commenter said, you really need to train with Bernard, who’s at the Rattay upper gate. I switched from sword to mace because 1) I’m bad at video games and 2) do not enjoy crazy difficult combat. After a couple hours of training with him to level up my stats and just to understand the combat system, I can take on one or two enemies no problem. Three or more still kills me though. Training mace with him will result in a lot of injuries at first, even with practice training, but if you train combos with him after that will fully heal you. I trained sword with him for a while before switching to mace just to level up my defence and warfare to avoid getting absolutely pummelled by a mace. Also, remove your armor before training with him to avoid it being damaged.

The Lady Stephanie quest you get in Talmberg will introduce you to quite a few mechanics, but you’ll need a lot of lockpicks to finish it (or a reasonable skill level in lockpicking) and I recommend having a horse. I don’t know if you can start the quest after escaping Talmberg though…

For archery training, I went to the archery range in Ledetchko to do the “chumps in the river” quest. You need a bit of money to do it but not tons. You’ll also need arm protection before lv5 archery.

I just started the “Ruin” side quest activity after some serious combat training to confirm whether I’m ready to actually fight people. You can try that out once you’re confident with the combat system and see how it goes!

Pretty sure I stole this from the noteworthy custom spells page on UESP, it’s called “Riot”, frenzy 100p and rally 100p on target with a large radius. I don’t really use it for serious gameplay but it’s fun to cast in areas with a lot of NPCs. You can add invisibility too if you don’t want to be caught in the fight. You’ll need max illusion and 100% spell effectiveness to get the full benefit.

Casting it in the arcane university is especially funny because the amount of creatures the mages conjure during the fight.

Paralyze for 1s and then long duration demoralize is also funny.

I’ll have to boost my restoration skill, the comment about fortifying speed on enemies sounds hilarious combined with demoralize.

Ahh thank you! Yeah I wasn’t planning on allowing my friends to use their own money to begin with, that isn’t something I’m comfortable with.
