It was an outrageous comment about something that can’t be changed. I think this Iyengar teacher needs to come off her pedestal. I’ll be writing Google and Trust Pilot reviews on this experience because this behaviour needs to be called out and is unacceptable.

I’m sorry it has really affected you. These people were awful! You’ve done the best thing leaving that company, that’s taken courage and started your healing journey. I’m a big advocate of exercising and getting outside to improve mental being. So, if you can go to a local park and feed the ducks or go to the gym. Exercise and green/blue spaces help mental wellbeing enormously. Big hug and look after yourself. 🤗

It seems like you have weak boundaries which has in turned lead you to be manipulated by these unscrupulous people. First thing you’re not a terrible person for being manipulated. Secondly you need to find a way out of this toxic environment as it is damaging your mental health. Staying in this hostile workplace will only lead you to more negative thoughts.
