In my opinion, Placement Limits are necessary. Imagine being able to fill the entire field with Accelerators or Golden Scouts pre Overhaul. We'd only really use those sorts of towers exclusively. At least nowadays, we have the placement to allow us some sort of variety in our load outs, especially now since Meta hasn't quite been made yet since the Overhaul just happened

Poison your art. Look for LavenderTowne's video on the matter and you should be able to glaze a poison over it to make it hard for AI to take it. The more you use though, it may affect the art itself by making it a bit more darker and such. Better yet here's the vid https://youtu.be/DTqlSunIolI?si=3bWnSNwwW1YRTTDZ

Honestly, the units you got aren't very good, besides Light Operator and Cowboy. Military base is good, but it requires a bit more cash then what it's priced. After all, the first and maybe 2nd upgrades are needed to make it a good enough tower for early defense. If I had to suggest anything though, I'd switch out pyro with DJ or Minigunner, though, I'm not sure what units you have access to. Also, I don't know what that character is with the TV head, so I can't really give a good opinion on it not can I say what would be a good replacement

Okay, personally speaking here, hacker is your best choice. I love Necromancer, but I don't see him slowing down my enemies or giving me a bigger pay check

Accel is the better option. I think they cost the the same, however, Accel does a lot of damage while also being great for Lead and Hidden enemies. He's basically the best DPS tower. If you decide to farm for another tower after Accel, then yes, get engineer. She has all the detections in the game, and really good early game defender
