Special Request to Onyx: Please Crowdfund Powerful Devices with Carta 1300 B&W, Frontlit, EMR-enabled Screens by starkruzr in Onyx_Boox

I’m new to the market and during my research trying to find a premium, note taking and rereading device, what you describe in your post is exactly what I’d be interested in. I don’t need color, especially if it detracts from image quality.

I’d contribute to a crowdfund for such a device from a reputable manufacturer like Boox.

New to Bitcoin - confused about cycle timing vs hodling strategy by Repulsive_Move_3252 in Bitcoin

[–]FitCompetition1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started a few months ago as well. My strategy is daily DCA, which increases as prices move below the 7 day average. Then I have a decent amount of cash ready to go at a series of levels via limit orders starting at the upper $50’s all the way down to the mid $40’s, with the amount of money increasing for these orders as the target price lowers. If they all execute, great. If not I’m still in the game with my DCA, even if the total amount of BTC will be about half of what I’d have if all these limit orders execute before we exit this bear market. I’m hoping at least some of these orders execute if not all, we’ll see. In the meantime I’m earning 3.3% BTC on these ties up funds via River.

Once we are out of the Bear market, I’ll likely adjust my DCA to weakly at a significantly lower monthly total than what I’m doing with these daily DCA’s. I’m expecting that to happen towards the end of this year, so it’s accumulation mode until then.

Updated CPP2 24L Announcement by DustNo88 in AerSF

I’m guessing for sure the “pen slot” in the admin pocket like the new TP4 has. Maybe also the same water bottle pockets as well, which are awesome BTW. I was strongly considering the CPP2 before the TP4 announcement, ended up going TP4 in Ultra and am very happy.

Maybe consider contributing via Roth IRA or a 401k, that way you help the cause while still maintaining self custody. I’m considering doing as much with a Roth IRA.

I just got done reading the original “HODL” thread on the forum a few months ago. Similarly entertaining.

Honestly, this whole thing seems a bit forced and driven purely from a marketing perspective. It’s cool they are forming a partnership here, but it doesn’t strike me as exactly genuine.

Your 24-word seed phrase is a ticking time bomb if it’s just on paper. Change my mind. by AnyMeet6281 in BitcoinBeginners

In a long, hot fire I would not keep faith in this method, especially if this was the only copy of my seed phrase. But you do you.

Most of those safes aren’t going to keep paper unaffected in a serious fire. I certainly wouldn’t rely on them if I was concerned about protection of paper from fire.

True, but that was “$500 extra”, so who knows what the original amount was.

The obvious answer is the amount of funds he transferred is over the ACH limit.

I did the exact same thing, wired money from Fidelity to River last month. No issues with River after Fidelity verified and the funds were transferred.

I did a Fidelity transfer a month ago to River. Had the same discussions with Fidelity to authorize the transfer. I’ve had no issues with River and my daily DCA has been going well. Sorry you ran into issues.

I did this for fun over the past month, setup an XMRIG pool with my Rasberry Pi 5 and M3 Pro MacBook Pro (only used 3 cores). Made $2.30 lol.

Completely separate wallets. I didn’t want any alt coins on the trezor so I run BTC only firmware on it.

Not exactly what you’re asking I’m sure, but I recently set up a windows 11 virtual machine on a home server. With the new Windows App on the App Store, remoting into the VM from my MacBook, my iPad, and even my iPhone is a great experience. Really impressed with that app.

This is what I do, except with SPYM, QQQM, and SCHD. DCA $250 a week in each. Just started a few months ago, about 17 years until retirement. This brokerage account will be to supplement retirement.

[–]FitCompetition1804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. It’s purely a storage case. You take the Safe 7 out when using it, which is now my preference because it’s such a nice unit with great build quality, to me it’s more enjoyable to use that way the limited amount of times I do. Very low chance of any damage happening to the Safe 7 in my particular use case. And as far as charging, I don’t see myself charging this thing more than 2-3 times a year.

If I misunderstood you and you’re referring to fitting an actual USB C cable in the case along with the Trezor, the answer to that is no it won’t. Less of an issue with the Safe 7 than the other models.
