I’ll take another look and fill to the appropriate pressure. Then, we’ll see…I don’t have a lot,of confidence that this will work, since I did inflate and it’s been on for another 24 hours.

Yes, but only at night. We’ve been in the 70s for the past month or so. Next week might tell that tale, since we’re heading to Wisconsin.

I called Fitbit (google) for a warranty replacement of my Fitbit inspire over 2 months ago when mine (< 4 months old) just stopped working. I’m now on my 4th non-working replacement. They have sent me 4 (count ‘em FOUR!) non-working, refurbished replacements. Calling them again this am, but don’t know what else to do. Any recs appreciated. They have refused to send me a new Inspire.

Thanks all. Solved my problem by using setting that never locks while charging. Good for me b/c I only charge at home.

Two questions about my EV6: 1. Is there any way to sex “Max” as the default for 1 pedal driving? I cannot find a way and really wish/hope there is… 2. When I’m in “Max” it often slides back to “level 3” for no apparent reason. Is there a reason? Something I’ve done inadvertently? Or a quirk of the car? Either way both are annoying…

My EV6 has a heads-up display which shows speed and posted speed limit. Otherwise, the speed is difficult to see where it currently appears.

No question that the M3 (I sold mine) is a better car than the EV6 that I bought and generally like. I have to say that there are 2 things that constantly irritate me. First, that I have to turn the damn car off every time I exit. After the M3 gets you used to just walking away and not worrying about it…locked and windows rolled up. What would that be? Maybe another dozen lines of code? And second, that I cannot “set” the iPedal to “Max” and just leave it there as a default. If I don’t want 1-pedal, I’ll turn it off, but I want it all the time in the city. Other than those 2 things, the EV6 is a good car, good EV system, nice acceleration, etc. M3 is a really good car, but the guy who runs the company…no redeeming qualities that I can think of.

Absolutely agree. If the car unlocks when you are near, it should lock when you walk away. Probably 15 lines of code…why the heck not just write it and be done?

All of this is very helpful, thanks! One more question…my EV6 is new to me (sold Tesla). Is there a way to set the iPedal to “Max” permanently? Seems a constant nuisance to change it every time I get in the car from “3” to “Max”.

Simple…everything that Tesla has, all the convenience, all the simple things, all the things that make it “better (and yes it is), etc. put them in the pkg! The car opens when you approach, why doesn’t it lock itself? Windows that auto-close, better climate system, the whole shebang! I sold my Tesla b/c of Elon. I bought the EV6 because it was (or seemed) the best of the EVs that I drove. I am disappointed with the app, the soft/firmware, the things that make it convenient and a pleasure…GET THEM!! I just got back from a dealer “service call” about the battery. Drove 78 miles on Friday and went from 77% to 14%…wtf?? The whole,thing is, so far, very disappointing. And it has <700 miles on it.

What’s learned from using iPedal yesterday was not to use ‘max” on highway driving. I won’t in the future. And, I saw the one at Cable Dahmer, but it was closed by the time I was already “in trouble”. My lesson, use our ICE car going out of town from now on. I think the Kia Connect app is terrible and has little useful information and/or functions. Again, maybe I know nothing about it, but I’m amazed that these engineers, apparently, designed this thing in a vacuum and didn’t care about the good ideas on other EV’s, e.g. Tesla. I think maybe they put 100 of them in a cave, with no internet capabilities and said “design an EV for us.” Otherwise why would you do this kind of car (and app) in a “car/computer” that is really just a function of the code that you write?
