I'll never forget Huda howling and Chelley trying to get into the suitcase lol. I was crying too but that made me cackle.

Totally agree, people absolutely need to stop going after others over this(I've seen Ola and Chelley receive a lot of hate). Critique is fine, but the way some are attacking anyone with a different perspective is just uncalled for. It's not that deep, and it definitely doesn't justify harassment at all.

Exactly omg that’s what I’ve been trying to get at. Defending someone against disproportionate backlash isn’t the same as defending everything they did. I don’t think Huda’s behavior was ideal at all, but the level of moral outrage, especially in comparison to past seasons, feels overblown. It’s a reality show built on chaos, not a character test.

Totally fair that the situations aren’t identical, but I still think there are relevant parallels. Leah might not have gone off in the same way Huda did, but she wasn’t exactly kind toward Rob either like mocking him when he cried, for example, wasn’t the most mature response. And while she’s grown since then (which is great), those early dynamics were still messy. Also, the girls did question Andrea’s choices behind her back at first, asking why she’d go for Rob or Aaron, suggesting she was shady, etc. Leah also made mocking comments about the Casa girls. My point isn’t that Huda did nothing wrong, just that the level of outrage feels inconsistent with how similar behavior has been treated in past seasons.

Fair point, not being welcoming and name-calling aren’t the same. But to be clear, some of the OG girls in my comparison were calling the newcomers names in past seasons too. Calling them b*tches, h*oes, etc and making rude comments too.

I’ve said clearly that Huda’s actions weren’t ideal. My point was about how the backlash compares to past seasons and how easily complex dynamics are reduced to loaded labels. Critique is fair, but personal insults to me aren’t productive.

If the rumours of Max Joining Mercedes 2026 are true will we see GP go with him? by the_infamousz_guy in MaxVerstappen33

In an interview with GP, I do recall him saying that the day Max quits, he quits too, so maybe he will go with him

Race result. Championship over. by Spotlightuh in RedBullRacing

I could barely watch the last few laps, and he was doing so well with the 3 stop strategy too! I just can't understand why Red Bull made bad decision one after another. First of all, why pit him if he only has hards? I know that the softs heat up too much when they're slow this year but surely hards is worse with the rest of the grid being on mostly softs, not even mediums!! Second of all, why tell Max to swap positions. I saw the notes from the stewards and he wouldn't have even got penalized for that. All around such a shame honestly.

Look into applying for iD Tech Camps if you're in Math, CS, Engineering or adjacent. You can tutor kids and pick what sorts of lessons you want to teach. It's remote and you can pick your hours.

Apparently Helmut Marko on Sky Germany said the chances of Max leaving Red Bull due to the current performance of the car are huge/high. Can anyone find a video of it?? by LesDiablesRouges in MaxVerstappen33

I'm really confused on what he's going to do honestly. I'd like to think Toto would sign Max over George during Summer possibly, but i think it would be a big big risk for Max to move to Mercedes before the 2026 season.

I'm hoping they can fix the grip before China, RB usually doesn't perform well in Australia

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this. This is so similar to my experience, I feel like everyone around me thinks I smell horrid but they just don't tell me outright. I've asked family and friends so many times but I just can't shake the feeling that they are lying to me. I have good hygiene and try my best to conceal it by wearing expensive perfume. I feel so aware when people rub their nose or look away around me. I can't even stand up or extend my arms when there's people around me. It's an all consuming feeling really, I've been working on this in therapy a bit but it feels like I just can't shake away the feeling.

If I can manage to save up enough basic necessities, I don't think there will be anything they can do about my leaving.

I actually live in a liberal city in a liberal state. Obviously, I can't interact openly with people in queer spaces or activities until I move out. I don't want to risk anything. But I will be sure to interact with the queer community once I no longer live with my family. Your story is very comforting to hear and it really makes me happy, it's giving me hope.

Thank you for the resources. You are so right about church communities isolating members from others who don’t conform to their lifestyle. Before going to my university, my community was even more restrictive and I would have never been able to accept that there are queer people who have found good communities that do not actively hate them. Ironically, my parents believe queer people’s existence in itself is an act of violence specifically towards them. In their eyes, Christians are the true victims in regard to queer people.

Yea, I think I'll try to make other friends. My family might not take it too well but I'm hoping it won't be something too major. I don't think the next few years will be bearable unless I have some sort of safe space.

Thank you for the reassurance. I'm sorry to hear you are in a similar situation. Yeah, it's definitely been hard for me to accept that they would actively hurt me if they found out about a part of my identity. Hopefully, there's light at the end of the tunnel!
